Being a fan of Delta Burke since she was on Designing Women, when my St. Martin's Press sales person presented me with the spring list and I saw Delta's book listed, I worked to set up a private book signing at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach.
Delta is as charming in person as her TV image. When reading her book you realize that a full figured woman is as beautiful in image and spirit as any size 6 woman. We learn in Delta's book of her struggles with her weight and how she has learned to deal with this in her life.
When she spoke at Mar-a-Lago she was wearing a stuning outfit from her new clothing line. She is very proud of this line of clothes because now women of larger size can have clothes that make us look and feel good. If you like Delta you should read this book. If you are a Rubinesque woman you will find this book inspiring.
